About Rachel

I believe work is at its best when it feels alive, bringing connection, purpose, and moments of enjoyment along the way. Even when the path ahead isn’t perfectly clear, positivity, kindness, and humour help keep me grounded.

My approach has been shaped by a wide range of experiences: teaching kids and young adults, leading teams, managing projects, and coaching individuals and groups across industries and countries. Living and working abroad, combining studies with a full-time job, and raising four children has shown me that growth rarely happens in neat, well-timed chapters. Along the way, my love of languages, sparked as a kid by a friendship forged during a summer holiday, has helped me connect across cultures and experiences.

Through my years in consultancy, I developed a no-nonsense approach, where every hour counts and practical solutions matter. I like to think that my work blends the education I have received with the professional experience I’ve lived, combining theory with real-world insight to help people and organisations move forward effectively.

At Yellow Robin, connection, clarity, and courage guide everything I do. I often step into situations I’ve never faced before. They can feel daunting, but they also fuel learning, growth, and confidence. Whether coaching, facilitating a team, or managing a project, I help people and organisations find direction, strengthen relationships, and move forward with confidence.

Outside of work, I stay grounded by connecting with family and friends and remaining active through sport which helps me relax, brings joy, and keeps me challenging myself in small ways.
